All the staff really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Blankets, neck pillow, movies/music. They talk you through everything and were so patient when I was feeling anxious. They have a cute play area for the kids to play in while waiting for their turn. Excellent experience!

I am very impressed with Plain City Family Dental. First off I had a tooth break off one evening and was able to get in the next morning to get it fixed. I cannot say enough good things about Plain City Family Dental. I’ve always been terrified of the dentist — so much so that I would avoid going until I absolutely couldn’t anymore. But that changed after coming here.

From the moment we walked in, the entire team showed such genuine care and kindness, not just for me, but for my kids too. They took the time to explain everything, made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, and treated us like family. It’s rare to find that level of compassion and professionalism all in one place.

This had to be by far the best dentist experience of my 30 years of living.
The staff / Assistant were so friendly and informative on all my questions.
Dr.Mortenson is a great guy that really knows his stuff.
I got 2 cavities filled and was some how laughing during the process.. It’s that comfortable there!

The doctor was awesome! He explained my procedure extremely well and answered every question that I had. I usually have an extreme fear of the dentist but he made me feel super comfortable! They had noise cancelling headphones and let you watch a movie during the procedure, and they make it as painless as possible. I am definitely going to keep coming back! I don’t even know where to begin because no words can truly express how grateful I am for Dr. Mortenson and his exceptional team.
From the moment I walked into his office, I was treated with so much kindness, respect, and professionalism. I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant and was naturally nervous about undergoing dental work, but Dr. Mortenson went above and beyond to make sure I felt completely safe and comfortable every step of the way. He avoided any nitrous or materials that could harm my baby, and yet this was the most relaxed and comfortable I’ve ever felt during a dental procedure.
I had cavities on my top front six teeth, and they were in such bad shape that I wouldn’t smile, laugh, or even show my teeth. I was so embarrassed. It really affected my confidence. But Dr. Mortenson’s work is nothing short of miraculous. He filled and reshaped my teeth so beautifully. They look so natural and amazing that even my husband and my mom were stunned. They said my teeth looked exactly like they did before the decay.
Dr. Mortenson is truly an artist when it comes to dental restoration. His attention to detail is unmatched. He doesn’t just get the job done. He gets it done perfectly. I’ve never met a dentist with such a great combination of skill, compassion, and a wonderful sense of humor. And his staff is absolutely amazing. Every single person in that office is warm, attentive, and genuinely cares.
I trust Dr. Mortenson not only with my own teeth but with my entire family’s dental care. Thanks to him, I can’t stop smiling. I can’t stop crying because for the first time in a long time, I’m actually excited to be in photos again. Maternity pictures, family photos, all of it. My confidence has been completely restored.
Thank you, Dr. Mortenson. You gave me my smile back! Now my children get to see their mother smile with confidence and actually join In family photos.

A completely positive experience. Plain City Family Dental has a small practice feeling, where everyone was very kind and patient. However, even though you get that personal feeling, it does not lack any technology! Everything was beyond my expectations with all the equipment and techniques. They even took extra time to complete work that I didn't know I needed. Plus, I had absolutely no pain. I would definitely recommend Plain City Family Dental.
